Sunday December 7th in 1941, Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Empire of Japan. This caused the end of hundreds of lives, and scarred the United States forever. Arizona, the ship held several soldiers and was completely destroyed. An 184 foot memorial now stands to commemorate the loss of many American soldiers. President Dwight D. Eisenhower aided in the victory of allies in Europe during WWI, and approved the creation of the Pearl Harbor Memorial. This memorial draws many to the beautiful state of Hawaii.
